Balcony House (Market Street & Trinity Place, Nassau, New Providence Island) — In the midst of a bustling 20th century city, step back in time and discover an 18th century architectural gem. This quaint historic landmark is named for its overhanging balcony and is thought to be the oldest wooden residential structure in The Bahamas. The Central Bank of The Bahamas purchased the building in 1985 and restored it to its original state with period furnishings. It is now a museum. Admission: donations accepted.
